Ann C. Joyce, PhD
Founder and President
Dr. Joyce obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida while working full-time at Moffitt Cancer Center in the Continuing Medical Education Department. This position inspired her to pursue her passion for adult education and she went on to obtain her master’s degree in Training and Development with a concentration in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis. While working on her master’s degree she opted to complete a comprehensive project in lieu of a thesis. Her comprehensive project was the development and implementation of an orthopedic residency program in the Tampa Bay area. The program received full accreditation and was launched soon after she received her master’s degree in 2006. She went on to complete her doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Florida. Since then, she’s developed and implemented multiple fellowship and transition to practice programs for physicians and advanced practice providers.
Over the past two decades, she’s written grants to build alliances between organizations that have received resources to implement strategic projects, many of which have received local media coverage. She now specializes in academic planning, program development, system-wide change management, strategic alliances, new academic program development, organizational development, and distance learning.
Dr. Joyce leverages her extensive background in higher education and experience in the healthcare field to guide her clients to success. She offers her clients valuable insights and lessons to avoid pitfalls. She has taken the journey many times and is able to simplify complex concepts into consumable segments of information that her clients can easily understand and integrate into their systems.
